Write in Korean From Any Computer
by Richardson ~ April 16th, 2008. Filed under: Asides, Korean Language. This site offers a tool that allows you to write Hangul (and many other alphabets) from any computer, using buttons that form the text, which can then be copied into an email, document, etc. Very handy for use from work or while traveling.

Very handy indeed! Since installing that abomination, MS Vista, I haven’t bothered to write anything in Korean (yet), and haven’t installed any fonts either, so I just might stick to this thing… although it would probably take a long time to type a page this way.
Thanks for the great find!

You’re right about writing a letter with that tool! But good if you need to type a few words, especially if not using a Korean keyboard (like me, for now).
Vista will add Korean input ability very easily. Control Panel, Regional and Language Options, then the Keyboards and Languages tab, and add Korean.

Thank you again for the tip. I used a Korean input editor with XP SP2 and didn’t know I could simply turn Korean input on Vista without adding additional software.
I’ll do that right now.
