North Korea Establishes Paekdusan Multimedia Website

North Korea has launched a commercial site (ryomyong.com) selling images and video of Peakdusan: “The North Korean government sees the establishment of a separate featured corner for Mt. Baekdu as a means of rallying interest from the local and neighboring international communities in preparation for the upcoming direct-line tours to Mt. Baekdu beginning in May.” Via the Daily NK.

    This is funny because the DPRK has the .kp domain. Why do they use that? Kim Jong Il is weird. Like that is any surprise.
