The Irony of Chinese Censorship

Censorship of controversial issues has worked so well in China that a young censor in the making didn’t know about the 1989 Tiananmen Square “crackdown,” and so let a small ad be published in a southwest China newspaper: “Paying tribute to the strong(-willed) mothers of June 4 victims.”
