Most Americans Consider NK an Enemy or Unfriendly

by Richardson ~ May 23rd, 2007. Filed under: Asides.

According to a recent Angus Reid poll, 45 percent of Americans consider NK to be an “enemy,” 28 percent “unfriendly,” while 17 percent say “friendly” and 4 percent say an “ally.” Makes one wonder what percent is addicted to crack (4?). Don Kirk has more on this in the ATimes.

I’m surprised that a majority of people even knew enough about North Korea to know it’s not our buddy. Hell, if you asked our citizens to name the president of the USA, I bet a good 5 to 10 percent wouldn’t even know…

C’mon, everyone knows who President Cheney is!

“C’mon, everyone knows who President Cheney is!”

Of course! He’s the guy with the lesbian daughter who just had a baby. If I see one more headline scream “lesbian,” I’ll scream. Mary Cheney isn’t the VP’s “lesbian daughter;” she’s his daughter. Period. Who said the media was liberal?

Those are the capitalist liberals (the sort that is not bothered by anything like cognitive dissonance) who know the word “lesbian” forces males to read the article, click on the link, or linger over the TV report that much longer. Who knows what sort of crazy lesbian footage they could run?
