From Yonhap: “The inter-Korean Kaesong industrial park marks a “very positive” step for the two Koreas in both economic and political terms, a group of U.S. [Democratic] legislators said Friday. . . The project is ideal because it combines the economic advantages of both sides, Democratic Rep. Jim McDermott of Washington was quoted as saying. . .”

    This should receive more attention than it is receiving now. Union websites need to have brought to their attention the fact that the Democrats think that it is good to have competitors of their employers (and thus indirectly themselves) benefiting from use of what amounts slave labor. Most slaves are not union members (Communist unions really are not authentic unions anyway) and have no hope of ever engaging in any kind of bargaining with their “employer,” collective or otherwise.
