Good grief, this is going to be controvesial — at least in Asia:
Ted Leonsis was cruising the Caribbean on his yacht a couple of years ago, poring over old newspapers, when he noticed an obituary for Iris Chang, author of “The Rape of Nanking,” the best-seller about the killing in 1937 of 300,000 Chinese by [...]

Update: The Korea Times has an editorial on the subject, `Mt. Paekdu Project’ Koreas Should Unite to Keep Sacred Mountain.
Original Post: So far I’ve only seen this Dong-a Ilbo article, China Seeks U.N. Title to Mt. Baekdu, but there is bound to be a nationalistic flurry of activity over this:

To early to tell if this has anything at all to do with North Korea’s U.S. currency counterfeiting operations, but it would not be a leap for them to be involved in fake bonds:
Police recovered a briefcase containing a hoard of probably forged United States Treasury bonds worth $500 million during the investigation of a [...]

SANCTIONS
Ambassador Bolton worked closely with Security Council colleagues to create a new partnership with Interpol to strengthen sanctions against al-Qaida.

Update: For the full version of this idea, see; South Korea Must Choose Sides (Asia Times)
Original Post: As the amateurish Roh administration bumbles along seemingly attempting to do everything in its power to destroy the U.S.-ROK alliance but to come out and denounce it directly, they appear to be equally oblivious to the failure of [...]

The U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations, John Bolton, will face a hearing this week to be re-nominated for the position. President Bush, previously unable to obtain a nomination for him, made a recess appointment that has allowed Bolton to serve until now.
Readers of Joshua’s old blog “One Free Korea” might recall that Joshua and [...]
